Anobo Krom literally meaning your mouth hits your town. Descriptive of when your last seed ends on an empty house on one’s own side, this seed any opposite on the opponents side are captured.
At the start of the game the 2 row by 6 column board is set out with four playing pieces in each of the twelve houses, making a total of 48 pieces.
Each player takes it in turn to sow the seed in an anti-clockwise direction. Placing one seed in each house and leaving no seeds in the house the move was initiated from. Being a multiple lap game, if the last seed sown lands in a house with seeds in it, these are then used to continue the sowing. A move ends when one’s last seed lands in an empty house.
If the last seed lands in an empty house on your own side and the opponent house has seeds in them the seeds from both houses are captured.
When there are few seeds left on the board. If a player has no seeds to play with and the opponent has at least a seed in their end house. The opponent can play twice in order to provide the opponent with seeds to play with. If a player does not have seeds in their end house they take the remaining seeds. The game ends when one player captures 25 seeds or more.
